An afternoon learning all about insects and reptiles!

Yesterday our kea room spent the afternoon learning all about New Zealand bugs and reptiles! from geckos to weta's, snails to frogs, we got our hands dirty, playing in the dirt trying to find some insects! We had lots of fun, everyone got into it, and we're sure you'll be hearing all about it this week.

A special mat time!
Today our Pukeko Room was treated to a special mat time reading as our guest visitor Poppa Al came in to read us his favourite book from his childhood! He's very good at telling stories and we all soaked in every minute of what he shared with us, ready in anticipation for what was coming up next in the story.
Our newest girl band!
Today we had a brand new girl band form, and it was great! we loved seeing them practising and playing together with the ukulele, dancing and grooving along to their own tunes! Maybe we'll get a special performance at our end of year production!
