Meet our Pipi Room teachers:

The Pipi room is for infants starting from 3 months old. The room has lots of space to accommodate the developmental stages of rolling, crawling and walking. The environment is designed to help our littlest ones explore and develop at their own pace. We work alongside parents & whānau to help build consistent routines so that it's an easy transition from home to Small Fries. We have a wonderful team of teachers who provide love, respect & quality care for all who come through our doors!

  • Angie | Team Leader

Hi, my name is Angie. I am passionate about quality care and education for children.

I studied a Bachelor of Education specialising in Early Childhood and have now worked alongside infants and toddlers for several years. I am happy to be working in a centre that promotes quality care & education. I am delighted to also be part of a Christian team that engages with & supports the community!

  • Joanne

Kia ora, my name is Jo and I am very excited to be a part of the Small Fries team in the Pipi room. I have been teaching in early childhood for over 10 years and have a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and full teacher registration. My husband Trevor and I are originally from Wellington and are blessed with four children. We've been living in Auckland for over 20 years. I am passionate about the early years and believe an environment should be filled with an abundance of respect, positivity, care, love and laughter, where children are nurtured and able to grow and thrive into curious, confident explorers of their world! I am passionate about learning children’s home languages as well as learning my own children’s language of Samoan. I am excited to get to know our families and children!

  • Rinette

Kia ora my name is Rinette. I completed my B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education in 2018. My family and I moved from South Africa to New Zealand in 2019. I fell in love with Small Fries as a relief teacher and am very happy to have found a permanent position in the Pipi room!

  • Cecelia

My name is Cecilia, I am from Taiwan and moved to New Zealand in 1996. I graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Spatial Design. I started my career in early childhood education while I lived and worked in Australia. During those 5 years I completed my study for the role with a Certificate in Children's Services. I enjoy working with children so much! I have experience working in all age groups, but I  really love working with babies and toddlers. I enjoy working closely with families to get the best outcomes for their children.

  • Debbie

Hi, my name is Debbie. I was born in England and grew up in New York. I am passionate about babies and pre-schoolers', following that passion to Canada as a Nanny. Back in New Zealand I have spent time in childcare centres and did home based care while I raised my own two children. My children are now teenagers, and I've found my home at Small Fries, where I can share my love for children!
